In space, that would be the equation of a plane. In any plane non-parrallel to the one represented by the equation, it would be a line.

In particular, in the xy-plane (z=0) it is the line of equation:

- 4x+5y=8, in other words y=(8+4x)/5

take -4x to the other side,

5y = 8 + 4x
y = (4x + 8)/5

You can't solve this, you can't mix x and y numbers together and you have nothing to solve for.
