Are they all scams? Some of them request your driver's license, etc. I know most of them will take a percentage of what they find, and that's OK if they are legit. Does anyone know a site or can give me some feedback on these types of companies.

I don't believe all of them are scams. I was looking for more detailed answers. Is there a site that lists the ones to beware of? Has anyone had any experience with these companies?

Go to your state's web site and to the states that you have relatives to the unclaimed property division and look under names of family members. I found that i had five insurance claims that were never claimed by deceased family members. There is a lot of paperwork involved, but it might be worth it.

they do sound like a scam. think i saw something on tv that said the same. guess if it's too good to be true, be careful. giving them info like your driver's license and/or social security number could be dangerous.
