I just got home after taking lessons for my driving license and this guy is the epitome of goodness. i love being there but every time i get home i feel sad 'cause I realize I don't have that kind of people near me. how do I get over it. i'm always saying to myself I wish I had that kind of family and so on. and now the Christmas time's comin' and I h... it.

Unless you live with or are close to that person you only see his/her best side. A lot of people seem great when they are on the other side--the grass is always greener. You are expecting the people around you to be like people you admire on the outside. Try excepting your family for who they are. You might find yourself a much happier person. Your family is not going to change but you can be happier by realizing that and realizing that the family you look at everyday won't always be there and one day you won't remember their faults--just the good times and then you will miss the family you had. Don't ever let anyone die without them knowing how much you love and appreciate them for your own sake. When they are gone will you only have yourself and your conscious to live with.

Now I am in my middle age, I see how all the people, both good and some not so good, and some down right mean and hateful, has contribute to shape the person I am.
There is always someone have things better, or worse then me.
You have a home to returned. You have a chance to learn how to drive. There is a good chance you'll get a car to drive too!!!
Life don't offer everything to one person.
You have something they don't, they have something you don't.
Cheer up, and if you don't have that loving person in your household, become one!!!!

Life without someone to compete with would just .. suck
If i had only friends i wouldn't have anyone to compete with ( sure you can compete with friends , but where's the joy in rubbing it in the face of some guy you dislike ) . I like the persons that i have in my life right now , good or bad , they made me what i am today and i'm grateful for that .

The best thing you can do is accepting things the way they are, its hard but its real, you need to accept your reality and try to see it in an optimistic way... and believe me is not easy as you read it but you need to try to do it... try to make a change in yourself so you can see it in others good luck
