1)"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Clark Gable, Gone with the Wind (1939)
2)"I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse." Marlon Brando, The Godfather (1972)
3)"You don't understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I could've been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am." Marlon Brando, On the Waterfront (1954)
4)"Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." Judy Garland, The Wizard of Oz (1939)
5)"Here's looking at you, kid." Humphrey Bogart, Casablanca (1942)
6)"Go ahead, make my day." Clint Eastwood, Sudden Impact (1983)
7)"All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." Gloria Swanson, Sunset Blvd. (1950)
"8)May the Force be with you." Harrison Ford, Star Wars (1977)
9)"Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night." Bette Davis, All About Eve (1950)
10)"You talkin' to me?" Robert De Niro, Taxi Driver (1976)
But personally I would have put
Citizen Kane's "Rosebud"
Oz's "I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too!"
Star Wars, "[Luc, I am your father."
"E.T. phone home." Pat Welsh, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." Humphrey Bogart, Casablanca (1942)
All in the top ten because I think people use them more today.
The Wizard of Oz is the most referenced movie of all time. More people have seen this film than any other, so I'd think you'd have to use a line from it.
