I'm assuming you're Australian, and talking Australian dollars? Otherwise, as everyone has kindly pointed out, some salesman retired on your purchase.

I got a 325 as a loaner, and didn't really like it either. It's ok, but underpowered and soft. To my mind, entry level offerings from the German manufacturers don't compete with Accords or Legacies. For what it's worth, the 325 is far superior to the A4 or C240 - I've driven both, and actively disliked them.

If you're dead set on BMW, you can get an e46 M3 (say a 2001 or 2002 with some miles) for about the price of a new 325. Look at this for an example - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-BMW-M3-DINAN-ONE-OWNER-SERVICE-RECORDS_W0QQitemZ220054985127QQihZ012QQcategoryZ6131QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.

If the driving feel is what you dislike about the 325, you'll love the M. They're unquestionably a stiff car, so ride comfort isn't necessarily their forte, but there's no car under $100K (USD) that offers a similar package. If you're looking for more comfort, check out the Camry. For that price, you can get one fully loaded, and they're as soft and comfortable a car as is made. Plus, it's a Toyota, so it'll last forever.

I'm sorry, but a 2007 325i for $61,000? First of all, BMW does not produce a 2007 325i. Second, why would anyone spend 61 grand on a 325i? At the very least, get a 335i coupe. Lastly, as for my opinion of this car, I really don't like the feel of a 335i coupe. My advice, go for the M3.

Oh man, why didn't you come in to my dealership.....
Now, did you really buy one or just bsing, i ask because there is no such thing as a 2007 325i. You either bought a 328 or 335. And that means you must have paid cash or put down at least 20k, because the finance companies won't finance that much for that car. So you are not telling the whole story.

$61,000 what? AUS $, NZ $? If you don't like it, did you test driveit before you bought it?

Why did you selct BMW to begin with? They are meant to be driver's cars with the best in driving responce and enjoyment. If that is not what you were looking for in an auto to begin with, then maybe I can sense your disappointment.

Nothing wrong with the auto though. It is a top shelf piece of mobile.

my god, are they that high now ?

I paid 55k for my X5 2004 & thought I was an idiot, then turned around 9 mos. later & got a 325I with everything, sport, sound, navigation , everything at the time , another 04, & paid 42k.

Why don't you take yours back & buy my little 325I that just turned 8 k mi., & still have almost 30 k in your pocket.?

All kidding aside, I feel for you..that's a chunk of change & not be happy, ya know ?

Good luck...

You should have done your research and test drove several times before you made the decision to purchase it , looks like you made a poor decision , It really is a great car , well at least know that BMW's retain their value so if you decide to sell you wont be out that much money .

Are you bragging about spending money on something that you don't like? Are you a moron or just dumb? Who cares what you have and what you spent on it. Next time buy American.
