I just got done with College.Im one of the lucky ones who gets their folks to pay for school. Undergrad and Grad School. But im wondering if this is a good idea.. Am I going to be an eternal student? I got into grad school and start next year again for 2 years? It sucks that I still live at home, and own nothing except my car. All my friends have a life going for them, a Job, Family, a nice house. Here I am still doing homework. Im really getting hopeless with my life. People keep telling me it pays off,.. but I dont know, its like im missing out on life

You have it good but if you want to feel better about yourself, maybe you should get your own place and a job, if you are not working. You just need more independence. But it is still good that your parents are helping you out though.

I use to feel the same way about my folks helping me out until someone told me never be ashame of having a great support system.

Want some cheese with that whine honey? Poor Poor girl...Getting a free education and room/board while all the other people you yearn to be like are working their asses off to pay for those houses, those kids, those cars and would trade places with you in a heartbeat. You need some serious gratefulness sister. You keep doing your homework silly and looks like you need to do a little house-cleaning inside yourself too. Your gonna have all those things plus more. All the college your doing is gonna get you all the physical things they got and more. Just make sure you thank God (or your parents) everyday day for the blessings you have that allow you to improve yourself while everyone else is out in the rat-race..It'll still be there when you finish college, I promise. Now get back to them books Girl! Peace and Love baby!

My friend, you failed to mention what field it is you wish to enter into. Some disciplines require far more work to enter into. Also, what are your friends doing?
Anyways, if you are unhappy with a situation do not simply sigh and say oh-well. Take actions to correct the situation. Find part time employment or seek an internship. Do something!!!

It will be alright ,People live life at different speeds..I.....................i lived home for many years and now things are great.I think you are just envious. One day all will be clear and you will have a good job,a life partner and plenty of friends. One bit of advise, put God first, others second and your self third and watch good things come and happen to you. when you are selfless, what goes around comes around, in a very good way for you. good luck
