Does anyone know of any distingushed liberal arts schools or top schools in journalism or accounting?

I would suggest you look at http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/rankindex_brief.php to find out your answer. There really isn't that great of a difference between Havard which is at the top of the list to Michigan ranked around 20th as far as reputation goes in the two areas you are looking for (and plenty of other outside the top twenty that have great programs).

Ohio University has one of the top journalism schools in the nation.
ex. Matt Lauer went there.

most of our universities are good, not all are Harvard but that is good in business and law, not sure about the others in particular.
