I don't really like Xmas. I am glad every year when it is over and life goes back to normal. I like the idea of Xmas, but it usually turns out to be sh*t. I guess its to do with my parents being divorced so the family is separated. Also I used to work in a really busy shop right up until Xmas Eve and then start again the day after Boxing Day, which was stressful and miserable. In the shop we put the Xmas stock out in October so I had the festive season rammed down my throat for 3 months. I associate Xmas with work-stress, family-stress and not being able to have 5 minutes to get anything done. Also I hate that everywhere is booked up for everything months in advance and you can't even get a hair appointment. Bah Humbug! I am genuinely glad others enjoy it though and I wouldn't want it to be cancelled!
