Why do some white people sterotype?

I sorta went through the same situation as one of the others that answered. Im white and I took the bus a few times to work when my car broke down and at the time I was too young to rent a car...because of some stupid law...I was the only white woman on the bus that didn't look like white trash and I got a lot of stares! Also some white dude around my age said "oh look we got a white bread on board" I said "oh yeah? and what the hell do you call yourself??" The bus driver was black but was very nice to me, he use to preach to me too and I learned a lot from him. Im not racist whatsoever, its a shame how society is now a days. A black person can call a white person a cracka or honkey or whatever but if a white person calls a black person a racist name then all hell breaks loose. Life is not fair..

Do you have any idea how many times black people called me a cracka, silver spoons, opie, or rickie shroeder just because I'm white?

I used to ride the bus a lot and worked day labor sometimes. They'd usually make some form of racist comment. Being white, I couldn't respond because if I did I would have been slapped with an evil racist sticker.

I do not know. A very common stereotype, though, is the myth of the evil White man.
