You should get a dog that matches your lifestyle and expectations. Not all dogs are suitable for everyone. There's a link below that might help you out. Plus think about what you want from your dog, like a hiking partner? Just a lapdog you can tote around? A guard dog?
Not all dogs can do these things. You have research dog breeds and find out suitable for you.

It depends on what kind of personality you want your dog to have. I like pugs because they are more apt to loving people and children. Also, I have never heard that they have small bladders, so I wouldn't worry about that seeing that a pug is bigger than a chihuahua anyways. Chihuahuas are good more for individuals. If you want it to be friendly with others you need to take the time to socialize them. In addition, they aren't normally the friendliest with kids and are afraid of a lot of things.

to be honest i have 2 pugs and 2 chihuahuas but i own the pugsthey are really lovely and they are my babies i love them and the 2 chihuahuas are my sis but they 4 get alone really cool and i like the chihuahus too but i wound't change my pugs .

Neither. If you can't make the decision for yourself and can't even spell chihuahua correctly, then you aren't ready for a dog. Research the breeds, their problems, and their personalities and go from there. NEVER get a dog solely because it's cute or fits in your purse. Get it because you enjoy its personality and it fits your lifestyle.
Remember, this is a 15 year committment - where are you planning to be in 5 years? In 10 years? If you can't guarantee this dog a home for its entire life, you should not get it. This means college, full time job, frequent late nights, or anything else that could compromise the dog.

u should get a pug i had a pug rotwiler and it was awsome!also pugs are sensitive wen u say no so if u want get a pug.
p.s. pugs are like chiuauas they dont get tall or big.

you have to get a chiuhauahau because pugs like to pee every where because they have a small bladar!!! and a chihauhau has a bladar about two more times bigger then a pugs !!! so a chih would be a good choice!!!

Pugs snore but i think they are way cuter but chiuauas they skake and also bark alot so i hope that helped
