my teacher told me i had to enter the spelling bee, because i did the best on this quiz we had, do i really have to do it, i mean there has to be a way i can get out of it, i hate doing these types of things, so yea can anyone tell me what to do since i have absolutely no clue...

if your teacher makes you do it then just do your best and don't get nervous because the people who your up against are probably thinking the same thing. I have had to do somthings like that and it turnes out to be ok. GOOD LUCK!!

no you could get out of it. it might turn into a semi big deal with your teacher though. still i would do it. im 18, sort of looking back on my life so far and wishing i did more.

I don't believe you should have to, but I guess they could make you. You could just not show up that day. You could refuse to do it. I don't think they can make you. Of corse I could be wrong..

i bet if you really say you dont want to do it, you can get out of it. if not, i'd get the first word wrong on purpose to piss him/her off.
