Are you serious? Michael Jordan 6 NBA championships. One of the 5 greatest players ever to play the game. 2 Time defensive player of the year. Lebron James less than half that time in the NBA. What kind of question is that. What you should be asking; Is Lebron better than Jordan when they were both at this stage in their BB careers. I would say that yes that is a good argument. He has better numbers and he can only improve.

Jodan is the Greatest of all time and until Lebron wins at least 3 rings should anyone compare him to MJ! Lebron right now is a great player do not get me wrong but does not have the defensive skills, leadership or clutch play Jordan always displayed throughout his career! Jordan made players around him better! If you noticed that he won his rings with other than Pippen different players!

I think there is no question that jordan was a better player. Although Lebron is still young and still can prove a lot later in his career, i don't think he will be able to match the number of championships jordan won. also jordan's defensive skills were usually overshadowed by his scoring. he was all defensive first time many times and even won defensive player of the year. I jsut don't think lebron will ever be able to match jordan's resume.Michael Jordan is just to good

You have to say Jordan is a better player. It is way to early, Jordan was the best player ever to play the game. Lebron's not even the best player in the NBA currently. I still think Kobe's is better and when his legs get better he will show it. But whatever people keep on saying that we have to wait on him to win championships to start judging. MJ didnt win his 6 Champions until his last 6 years, excluding the fake Jordan we saw in Washington he dont count.
So Lebron has time, but the guy who was talkin bout Lebron being everything and the biggest Lebron fan, maybe you should know this is his 4th year not his third. I do agree with you that he does a lot of things like rebound and assist.
I think the dumbest thing the gut said was comparin him to Majic, he aint nothin like majic, his game dont look him. Lebron might average 7 assist he aint a passer though he is a shoot first pass 3rd guy. Just like my man Iverson aint a passer but get 8 assist a night. And he said if Jordan was playin he wouldnt guard Lebron, ok one of the best defenders ever wouldnt guard their whole team. OK Sure
Yea Jordan is better by far. But the thing that I love about Lebron is he is the only guy ive seen play who started living up to the hype right out of the gate. It took Yao 5 years to get it together and play amazing, it took Lebron One game, And stupid dude who said MJ didnt win Rookie of the year is the dumbest dude ever heard in my life, ever.

Hands down Jordan is the greatest. He is complete when it comes to basketball. Don't get me wrong, Lebron is amazing, but he is still young and has a lot to learn. With some effort, I truly believe Lebron has the capabilities to be up there w/ MJ, but in the same aspect, they are different types of players. Almost like comparing a quarterback to a running back. And this comes from a Detroit sports fan. Go Pistons!!!

Do you even watch basketball?? How can you actually believe that LeBron is only a scorer? To say that Bron is only a scorer is to say that KG is only a rebounder. If you want to be truthful, Jordan actually scored more than LeBron. LBJ is averaging about 28pts-7rebs-7ast-2stl-1blk. I think that MJ is better than LBJ, but Bron is only in his third year, let the kid grow. Some may say that I'm biased towards LBJ, because I'm a Clevelander, but I love the game, and I understand that the kid is phenomenal. Mike Redd or Rip Hamilton are just scorers, LeBron could only score 15pts, but he'd add some hustle and utility stats that help the team. Not to mention the fact that he draws double teams, and helps to spread the defense. I think that a comparison to MJ right now is unfair, but in the years to come, you will see. Plus, LBJ's game is more like Magic's than MJ's, most people compare anyone with amazing leaping ability and athleticism at the 2 and 3 position to MJ, instead of truly watching the nuances of their game. Bron-bron is not better than MJ, but I do think that MJ would have had his work cut out for him trying to check LBJ. Actually MJ would not have checked Bron, Pip would have, MJ would have checked Larry or maybe Eric Snow, to disrupt the flow of the offense, and slow ball movement.

It cannot be answered definintively at this point, but Jordan is much better on defense and a better clutch player at this point, but LeBron needs more help (Larry Hughes?). LeBron is a better passer that Jordan could ever be, and perhaps a better outside shooter, but Jordan was much better in the post. Right now, Jordan, but the argument is not over.
