If you locate the notch in the eyebrow, above the eye, you will find it to be quite tender. This is the nerve which is involved with the lids and sensory aspect of that part of the face. If it is irritated (inflamed) you will notice a tic..You will find a corresponding tenderness at the base of the skull. Indicating there is an inflammatory process involved. You may obtain relief by stretching the tight muscle on the one side of the neck. You can determine which side, just by rotating the head both ways.

I had this problem and I researched it on the net. The general response was that is was the result of being tired. It was not the symptom of something more sinister and was not related to stress. It was just that you need to get a good nights sleep.
I had a good nights sleep and no more tick. Try it.. Don't take an asprin and call me in the morning..hehe.

Eat a banana. Low potassium causes muscle twitching sometimes. It's probably no big deal.

Probably from stress, Try drinking some tonic water with quinine in it. No guarantees but it helped me get rid of an annoying tick!

I've had the same thing for the past few days. I think it's stress or a sinus issue. It should go away pretty quickly.

It does feel weird, but not a tic! Promise. Happens to all of us, might be stress, who knows? :)
