I am not a country music fan, but I love the George Strait song 'I Cross My Heart'. Truly one of the best love songs ever, country or not!

I don't know if it is technically of a love song but I really like Buddy Jewell's Help Pour Out The Rain. It is so sweet and always reminds me of what little miracles children are and childhood can be.

my grandfathers favorite was "i wish i had my first wife back" (the woman whose heart i said was black), by someone and the riders of the purple sage. it was real powerful because we kids sadly (for my grandmother) found the song funny and were hooked on playing it.
