I have been searching for someone to help me with my designs.
Basically, I want to take old jackets, blazers, etc. and jazz them up
with screen printing and embroidery. My problem is that the stock
embroidery I have been finding is kind of stale and I am looking for
something more creative.

I will also need to outsource the embroidery work because I have no idea how to embroider. If anyone is looking for additional work and can be flexible and creative, I would love to hear from you...Thanks

You dont state the kind of embroidery you are looking to do? Is it hand embroidery designs you are looking to do, or do you have and embroidery machine available?
If you are looking to turn your jacket designs into a small business venture. Personally, i would look further into the over-all initial COST of your threads, backing, spray, hoops, bobbins ect.
Due to illness i have been kind of forced to find easier options to continue my love of crafts. So have recently invested in a 2nd hand embroidery MACHINE, its brilliant, quick, you can design your own designs if you have the little box that attatches to computer and so easy once you get the hang of it..... the downfall for me i find is the cost of threads, but if you are willing to shop and surf around, with a good business head on your shoulders then i'm sure you will find a decent outlet.I managed to get a small batch on ebay to get me started.
GOODLUCK!!!
ps, a couple of links for embroidery below and there is another calLed TREASURECHEST DESIGNS, maybe you will find what you are looking for on those.

Learn the basic stitches then the advanced stitches. Work your way until you are good at embroidery.

Try www.freepatterns.com, perhaps there is something there you can download and use.
