ok the last time i had sex was oct 31... my last . was oct 28.. i have been sick... tired.... mood swings my boobs are changing .. i went to the doc got a pg test yesterday and it was a - i was supposed to have my . last thursday .. so that means im a week late sick everything ... and its still - if i was pg wouldnt've come up + already??? i just dont no any thing else that would make me feel this way... if i was just late for my . then i would just go along with it being stress but with everything else!! i just dont know what to think

.If you are pregnant you might not have the HCG hormone in your blood yet. It is possible but unlikely for the test to came back positive after four weeks of missing your period. Though you can sike out your body in thinking it's pregnant if you stress about it too much. It's called stressed false pregnancy. I would take a blood test to be sure. By four weeks, a blood test should be positive if you are in fact pregnant. Until you know for sure, don't drink or smoke or do anything else that could harm the baby. Sometimes you need to be around 5-6 weeks along before the HCG hormone shows up in your system. You might be expecting girl. Good Luck

Being ill can effect your cycles. You may be late simply because you've been sick. Not all pregnancy tests show positive for a couple of weeks after you miss a period.
My advice is to relax and wait a few more days. Retest and then call your doc if you still haven't started or gotten a positive pregnancy test.

Wait a few days and test again. Although you may be experiencing pregnancy symptoms, your hormone level may not have been high enough to be detectable.

It all depends on the level of HCG in your body. If you were pregnant you would only be about three or four weeks. It is still too early to tell. Good luck.

I would learn to use big girl words like "period" before you think about having sex again, protected or other wise.
