I think everyone tells a white lie every now & then. But in relationships speak the truth and you wont have to remember anything, one lie will lead to another lie its like a web that eats at your soul. Many may shut themselves off and just lie. In my book it's not ok to lie the thruth hurts, but it frees one it does not keep them in bondage. Knowing or unknowingly of course it's easier said and done it requires strength to tell the truth. A relationship is based on trust, so overall, lying is bad.

NO! I want this relationship to be built on trust. I will not lie to him about anything. This is hard because I naturally want him to think well of me and I would never want to hurt him for anything, but I promised to always tell him the whole truth as it is so important to him, so that's what I will do.

If we think we are saving our partners feelings, we will all lie at one time or another. We do not purposely lie but sometimes it needs to happen.

I hate lying. I have a guilty conscience. I'd only lie if I had to. I tell him everything though so probably not.

Thou shall not lie, i wish it was that simple, sometimes we lie just to keep the peace and then when we are caught it blows out of proportion and we run for cover, so use your gut instinct and do what you have to do.

never... my husband and i are fortunate enough to have started out our relationship with no secrets and no lies. i feel that there is nothing that either one of us do, that neccessitates lying. If you are honest, then 1.) you never have to worry about getting caught in the lie, and 2.) you never have to worry about what your story was....

you should never lie to your spouse, expecially if you plan on keeping them your spouse. Honesty is always the best policy. If they don't want to know they should not ask.

I never have lied. But that doesn't mean I simply volunteer information that they don't need to know.

And if they ask me "Do these pants make my butt look big?", then I can honestly say "No", because it isn't the pants that make her butt look big, it's all of the fat in her butt that makes her butt look big.

If asked "Do you think I look beautiful?" the answer is always honestly "Yes", because I always think they look beautiful no matter what. The woman I'm with is always beautiful in my eyes.
