I agree with you, we need to learn to work together, as a world, first. Then after we learn how to "thrive" without hurting the world we live on, we could allow ourselves to move on and expand. But if we treat other worlds the way we treat this one, there will be no hope of having humanity ever get close to a Utopian Existence.

The work toward that end could have begun 40 years ago, but since then, world powers have become mired in issues regarding population, energy resources, religious differences and political games. The US has the capability to continue the work, but such ideas now tend to be discounted in favor of other domestic problems. The vision is still there and is part of the human matrix. This is what we are meant to do. We will travel to other planets someday.

moving out into area does not unavoidably mean contacting extraterrestrial beings. permit's say the closest liveable planet for people is "x" miles away. it could be maximum in all threat that an alien planet is "x squared" miles away, so we probable won't come for the duration of extraterrestrial beings whether we tried. they might could touch us except we detect some technological bounce forward. they got here upon a planet, Gliese 581c, that seems liveable for all times and it quite is not TOO some distance off. We easily won't have the potential to be triumphant in it now, so we are training on the thank you to get to Mars first. I observed a documentary in this, and a set of scientists believe they might beam a return and forth to Mars in 8 minutes with their technologies, even even though it is going to take a protracted time to construct the machines they desire! If 2012 is genuine then we can't have a raffle LOL. yet while it quite is in basic terms yet another lie, then we are able to stay on the aspects exchange and pollutants long adequate to examine this technologies. I in basic terms don't be responsive to. it quite is not proper lots for me because of the fact i would be lifeless by making use of the time they discern it out :D

No, but that is probably what NASA is planning, ultimately. Bush and Co. would be on the first space shuttle to whatever Earth-like planet is discovered so they can drill for oil and make some more money. Just a theory.

I'm concerned about our illegal aliens, especially the ones still spilling-in. But don"t agree with those (idiots?") who think it would be cool to send those unfortunates to so colonize the cosmos.
