My hamster "bunky" makes a sound that sounds like "ssst sssst" it sounds like a sneeze, or like he's trying to get something out of his nose. He usually only makes this sound when he's messing around with his bedding. I use Carefresh bedding. Im also willing to take him to the vet, but he seems fine other wise.

Nothing to worry about. Just make sure that the bedding or shavings are of good quality that doesn't give off dust or small particles.

Just like you said, he may have a cold, keep him out of drafts. He should pull out of it fine :0)

maybe hes just growling at the bedding, I wouldnt worry.
