Ok follow me and pay attention:
right click on "My computer" then click on "Properties" then click on the "Hardware" tab on the top, and after that click on "Device manager" a dialog will popup, look for something called "Network adapters" in the list if it exists and there's a "+" next to it, that when u click u get the name of your network card, if u get that name then there's a network card installed, if not then there might be a network but that's not installed or even there is no network card in the first place..

Good luck

If you're looking for a network card for your laptop, check for the phone line port, however, if you're asking about in internal wireless card, then check your system specs. If it doesn't have one, it most likely has a card port where you can put an external one in it. but a Network card, like you would find in a tower-type PC, is not likely to be found in a laptop.

I have used it myself and it works like a dream. What it does is put together a profile of your computer and produces an HTML file showing what hardware, software and memory you have.
