My Right side of my body from the back of my nee (on the back side of it) to my lower back reaaly hurts and it makes it hard to walk because it hurts to put pressure on my right leg.
Whenever I put pressure on that leg, the paine gets worse and shoots up starting from the back of my nee and up through my butt and then to my lower back.
( I'm 7 months pregnant )
Is this normal?
What is it caused by?
should I ask my doctor or should I not worrie about it?

Let your OB know about it.

It's most likely that the baby is pinching your sciatic nerve. Try a warm compress, warm bath/shower to ease the discomfort.
The other thing you can try is to get the baby to move off the nerve. Take a bunch of pillows put them on your bed then get on all fours over the pillows. It helps pull the baby off your spine and can reposition it some.

Sounds like you are suffering from sciatic nerve pain. This is caused by the baby laying across your sciatic nerve. A good warm(but not hot!) bath or a heating pad(don't use for more than 15 minutes at a time) will help tremendously. Also if you lay on your left side, it will help relieve the pressure on the right side of your body.

Go ahead and mention it to your doc though. If it persists or gets too painful, he may have to prescribe you some form of pain meds.

Your beautiful baby is putting pressure on your nerves! It is completely normal, and sorry to say....VERY painful! The only thing that might help is to lie down on the opposite side of the pain (so it's you're right side, so lie on your left). Put a pillow between your legs, and one behind your back (for support) and one under your belly IF it starts to pull on your back. Relax for a whole night and have your man wait on you, and will eventually go away. You can try ice (only about 10 minutes at a time) and a reg. tylenol, but I promise it doesnt help lol! Also, try having someone rub your lower back (into your hip kind of) on the side that hurts while you're lieing down, sometimes that really helps me. Good Luck!!!

Sounds like sciatica to me. I suffered from that with all 4 of my pregnancies. I'd still talk to your doctor on your next visit but not worry too much between now and then. Ask her/him about stretches you can do. I would do the cat yoga stretch and sun salutation and that really helped me alot, but depending on your activity and fitness level, talk to your doc about it before proceeding.

Mine went away after giving birth. Yours should too.

Congrats and good luck!!

if you feel like you want to ask your doctor than do so because you know your body best. when i was pregnant with my daughter around the same time as you i would get pains just like you in my abdomen, my leg, my arms you name it. i found out it was because my body was stretching so much and it wasn't used to it. if this is your first pregnancy take precautions and ask your doctor but, i think you are fine.

Yes you should ask your doctor. It may only be strian & wheather I worried about it or not would depend on what the doctor said. Untill then just try and relax. Your body is telling you somethings wrong but it could only be strain and you need to rest.

oh i remember them days my son would be sitting on that nerve and my i thought i was going to die. The best thing is to try to go to sleep i know its hard with the pain but its the best thing. Also if you can tolerate a massage then do so.

the pain may be caused by the baby pressing on a nerve. my recommendation is that you do ask your doctor about. it could either be a simple problem or a serious problem. so get help when you can.

My guess would be that the baby is resting on your sciatic nerve. I would talk to your doctor about it during your next visit.
