My son wouldn't sleep for the first month at night unless I was holding him. My doctor told me to try having him sleep in a swing, car seat, bouncer, pretty much anything that he liked or was comfortable in. I tried the swing and the motion of it soothed him to sleep. I only put him in there if he was crabby or wouldn't sleep any other way at night. I also gave him a warm bath with lavender shampoo/body wash at night and that also calmed him down. He is now 3 years old and has been sleeping all night in his own bed since he was 6 months old. It will all work out. Good luck getting some sleep=]

Colic is your problem tell your doc. about this. My daughter had it up until well a few months ago ( she is 11 months) she is on a formula for colic called nutramigen( 23-24$ a can) It helps and she was on drops called lepson drops for a while( it is for gas which causes colic symptoms) I would try that and do not be afraid to go and sit her down and let her cry. She will be ok and you have to break the habit of holding her now. ( after you try those things.) Also you need to get the doc to check her for everything like ear infection(My daughter just got tubes month ago, because hers would not go away) So do that and hopefully she will get better.
Any thing else just write.

She sounds a bit colicky hun. Try sitting her in a carrier or some kind of seat on top of the dryer while it's running, vacuuming is supposed to soothe a baby too, a baby swing is pretty good too to calm their poor crying hearts. Or even taking her for a short ride, sounds crazy but it works!
Colic can take anywhere from 2 - 4 months normally. Good luck hun!

The only way I got any sleep when my daughter was 2 months old was to sleep on my side holding her. I slept so she was on the inside of the bed between me and my husband so there was no way for her to fall off. You will not roll on her or anything unless you are drunk or something- your mama instinct knows where she is all the time.

she might have colic. Try giving her a couple of ounces of slightly warm (not much more than room temp)water. This should ease her pain. Good luck.
my daughter acted like that a couple of time in the first couple months. That's what I did for her.

As someone mentioned before, she could be colicky. Has she been like that since she was born? Sometimes it jus a phase that they go through and things might change after a couple of weeks.
G'luck.

Co-sleep, there are many ways of doing it safely. Babies are not designed to be left alone, 1000s of years of evolution tell them if they are left alone the wolves will eat them.

(Its the only way I get any sleep as I have insomnia and if I had to get out of bed to feed my bayb I would NEVER get back to sleep)

Get a good swaddle blanket and wrap her, she will feel cozy. I got the Swaddle Me blanket from babiesrus and it is awesome. My baby sleeps tight when I use it.
Here is the link for you to check it out

Also she can co-sleep with you so she feels safe with her mommy.

Maybe you can try wrapping her up tightly. It helps babies to feel secure and comfortable.
