The best thing to do, would to stop taking your birth control for the rest of the month. About a week before you start your next pack, go to your doc and have him or her give you a pregnancy test. Usually a urine sample works fine. Or, just go to the drug store and buy you a home test. If its negative, you can start your new pack when your supposed too. If you still feel that your not sure, talk to your doc about it before you do anything.

No keep taking the pills. Females work like this; with a normal 28 day cycle you can only get pregnant on the 14th day after the last day of your period. If you have been on birth control for awhile then more than likely you are not pregnant. Read the information package that came with your pill and it tells you that it will take at least three months to work out of your system. Once you have done that if you are still worried about side effects or whatever there is a 800 number on the paper where you can call and talk to an expert about it. Hope this helps.

I knew a girl in high that went into labour and didn't even know she was pregnant. She was on the pill through her entire pregnancy. She claimed that she got her period every month.
If you ask me she was just in denial that she was pregnant and kept taking the pill.
You should stop taking the pill until you take some sort of test and start them again when you know that you aren't pregnant.
My question to you is why in the world would you have unprotected sex if you know that you had missed 4 pills. Did you know that it only takes 1 hour to ovulate; which means that you should take your pill at the same time every day to avoid ovulation.
