The basis I would use to cross any of these off of my personal top 30 list would be 1) did I enjoy it enough to want to see it again or 2) did I find the movie so emotionally or intellectually stimulating that it should be considered a classic or "required viewing". Based on those two, I would cross off the following:
Leon
Gone with the Wind
Meet the Parents
The fugitive
Top Gun
Terminator 2

Yes. T2 sucks all the terminators after one SUCK topgun is homoerotic trash, meet the parents is cheap american humour, fugitive is dull boring. so yes try including some true classics I.E. Chasing Amy, Clerks BOTH are awesome, as well as Spider-Man 2, Psycho, Batman Begins, X-2, Superman 1978, Strangers On A Train, Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs, Scarface, Easy Rider, Amelie, Fight Club, Aliens,bowling for columbine etc

Some deserve to be there some like Meet the Parents, i'm afraid just don't have what it takes to be considered a classic or be oin the top 30 movies there are far better movies than that!!!!!!!!!!
