This is actually true. An Y-chromosone sperm (a potential boy) is faster, but a X-chromosone sperm (a potential girl) lives longer.
If you are having sex continuously (and not ovulating at the time) you are "piling on" X-chromosone sperms in the uterus, as they live longer than the Y-chromosone sperms.
If you are trying to have a boy, the best thing to do is to wait for ovulation (or use a condom until ovulation). If you wait until then to inject semen into the uterus, the faster Y-chromosone sperms are more likely to fertilize the egg during this time.
We planned for a boy with our 2nd child (and it worked).

Well, I do know that my first 2 children were boys and at the time they were conceived, my husband I had sex once a day for 3 days after he came home from summer camp for the National Guard. Now, when I got pregnant for my daughter, we were having sex 2-3 times a day, so there might be something to this.

No, that's not true! The first time I had sex with my now husband....I got pregnant, and it was a girl. The gender of the baby is decided by the male's sperm and what chromosones it's carrying, either and X or Y chromosone. It is shown in the US that just about 60% of people have the same sex for the first two of their children though. But also, you have a higher chance (51.87% of the babies born in the US are male) of having a boy. So, it really could go either way!

No, it is not true. What determines the baby's gender is whether the dad's sperm (the one that gets through & makes baby)is a y or an X. Men have one of each. Females have only ys. Therefore if a Y sperm gets through, you get a female baby & if an X gets through, then you have a boy. Very simple & basic biology. I myself have given birth to 2 girls & 1 boy. All 3 pregnancies were totaly different so that is not a factor. You won't know for sure untill you get an ultra sound done.

What dunb f*ck told you that?
No the female egg has X genes and the male has Y or X. The male determines the gender of the baby if he contribute a Y(boy) or X(girl) gene to the womans egg. Still gender is a random process. The ony way to get a girl 4 sure is to select a female sperm, if at all possible. Get an ultra sound and don't listen to morons. Good luck with the baby. Congrats!

I had sex with my husband every single day when we decided to start having children and at my 20 week ultrasound it was clear I am having a boy, so I think it is 50/50 chance no matter how often someone has sex.

Apparently if you have lots of sex your more likely to have a boy, as they swim faster and are more likely to reach the egg first on the day you ovulate where as if you have less sex around the time you ovulate it makes a girl as female sperm are very slow so all male sperms die out. When i was pregnant with my first i was sure i was having a girl and he was a boy and with my second i felt it was going to be a boy and turned out i was wrong again, so you can never really tell. All the best though

No, no, it's totally true. Sex is a big video game. Remember that code for 30 lives in Contra? Sex is just like that. You have to do a combination of positions a whole bunch of times to determine hair color, eye color, height, and whether male/female. Just remember, up-up, down-down, left-right, left-right, B, A, start! That'll get you a girl every time.

Sperm is what determines the sex of a baby. It all depends on whether a male or female gamete fertilizes the egg during conception. It doesn't matter how many times one might have sex.

Probably the chances of having a girl are slightly greater if your husband has a lot of hot baths - but this can have a detrimental effect overall on the man's sperm count.
