It starts fine and runs good until it warms up, and then it seems when i come to a stop or near stop it starts chugging along and stops. After it cools down it will start and then acts up again. Please help, short on money.
Thanks

There is a severe lack of clues here, but going with what you have disclosed I would guess that you have a fuel system issue. Most cars have a cold start system consisting of a choke on a carbureted car and a cold start sensor and injector on a fuel injected car.The system is supposed to enrich the fuel mixture while the car is cold and then lean out when it warms up. It sounds like yours is not making the transition and the car is getting too much fuel and not enough air after warm up. There are some basic clues to if this is the problem. Usually the car will emit black smoke if the fuel mixture is too rich and/or the inside of the tail pipe will be black and sooty. If this is the issue you need to either get the choke adjusted (carburated car) or replace the cold start sensor (fuel injected car).

go to a transmission shop and ask them to take it for a ride, i think they will find that your converter clutch solenoid is sticking and needs to be replaced, its like if you have a stick shift and you don't push in the clutch when you stop , it will stall the motor
