if you mean an ellipse....

area is equal to pi * minor radius * major radius

If your oval is an ellipse, it's not too tough.

If "a" is the major radius (the length of the segment from the center to the point farthest away on the ellipse) and "b" is the minor radius (the length of the segment from the center to the point closest to the center on the ellipse), then the area is:

A = π · a · b

In mathematics, an "oval" is more correctly called an ellipse, and the area of an ellipse is given by
Area = Pi*a*b,
