the italians only deserve 3 of the 4 stars.
How can I get through to him that we deserved all 4?
or should I focus on the fact that he rarely has "accidents" anymore on the carpet.
Perhaps I should give him a star everyday he doesn't mess the rug so when he gets to 4 he can relate to the azzuri and form a common bond with the team.

it would not be easy to motivate him...after all 4 stars is quite alot. Getting only 1 would be easy, but 4 well deserved stars like the Italians have would be difficult to acheive.

I would like to oblige you Naty but getting stars for an Italian is far to easy and would not be a challenge for you. Look at the way the Azzuri won the WC after they gave the French a 1 goal head start in the first 10 minutes.

@Naty: Thanks for the idea, but the headstart school is probably for intelligent kids and that isn't well suited for French fans.
He seems happy just to get a blue ball he can bounce whenever he names the correct players on the Italian midfield.
