Hello all!
I need to get a sound card for my laptop, so I can use my 5.1 surround sound speakers that I got.
However, when I was researching what my options are, I found some information that just confused the hell out of me!
First up I was looking to get the Creative Sound Card, but then this website (http://whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/338929.html) was ripping it to ****. They also talked about a Mystique Sound Card that looks pretty good (http://www.hdaudiovisual.com.au/mcpc/xmgold71.htm).
I would mostly use my speakers for blaring out music and watching movies etc.
I am in Australia so I need to be able to buy it here. I don't want to import.
Cheers in advance for your help!!!
Aisha
P.S. I am 22 today! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

I think I need an external sound thing. Like the Sound blaster Live! 24-bit External (http://www.soundblaster.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=206&product=10702)
Does anyone know of any other external sound things?
