Any store really. I used to work at Lowes and the morning meetings were always about trying to sell more than the other Lowes stores in surrounding districts. They're the same company so why are the same stores competing against each other?

It is all about the bottom line.
The store that does the best sales gets incentives from corporate. It only affects the bonuses that the top managers get.
Besides that they are looking to get promoted as well.

if they get you in to the spirit of competition, then you will work harder and make them more money. and at the same time, it allows you to have a point of reference and focus.. i've done it and it is fun.
