I don't think so if both players played each other at their primes. Remember, Michael Jordan played ball when the game was very physical and weren't all these rules which favor high scoring games. And even then Jordan put up great numbers and career highs. Kobe managed to score 81 (which is a nice number) but 10 years ago scoring 81 was next to impossible. If Kobe were to play one on one against Jordan, the winner would clearly be Jordan without a doubt.
