I am really confused by the conflicting articles on the internet.
Are breasts more likely to start sagging if you wear a bra all the time or if you never wear one?
Common sense dictates to me that supporting breasts with bra at all times would prevent sagging because there would be no weight dragging them down, but articles I have read on the web contradict this and suggest that not wearing a bra strengthens ligaments and therefore reduces sagging. HELP??

Exercise strengthens ligaments. That's it. Wearing a bra doesn't strengthen them, but it does give them support and a break from holding your breasts up. Wearing a bra is far more likely to prevent sagging (and ligament stretching in general) than not wearing one.

Don't really matter they are going to sag no matter how you slice the cake! well unless you have nothing to sag! somewhere between your 30's and 40's your breast will sag! even if you wear a bra or if you don't wear a bra! if you eat right and your not hard on them you should be fine for late 40's maybe even 50's so don't worry they won't sag untill then!

The newest artical says that bras increase your chance at breast cancer!

I'm afraid that whether they sag or not is more to with genetics, the size of the breast, how quickly they grow during adolescence or pregnancy, whether you've ever been pregnant or breastfed. Wearing a bra won't do anything to stop sagging, but will improve the shape of your breasts under clothing.

French women wear bras all the time...even to bed. They swear it prevents sagging. I'm not sure if it really does or not. I think eventually gravity will take over....bras can't defy gravity. The only thing I know that is proven to prevent sagging is keeping your pectoral muscles strong.

I suggest you just wear a bra when you feel like you need one. I don't think bras have anything to do with sagging. It's just how your body is!

Wow I would like to know myself, I had never heard the latter statement about not wearing a bra but it makes sense

It depends on the kind of bra you wear. You would need more support from your bra so it you not sag when you wear a bra.

I am an expert on women's breasts, if possible you should go without, especially when running for a bus, train or whatever. This will help to strengthen the ligaments in the delicate pendulous dangling udders.

Alternatively get a good support bra, the best make is 'TRIUMPH", with wider straps for extra comfort.. get a long line bra, they are supplied in a variety of colours and are delicately embroidered.

Sagging of brests with age cannot be prevented.Wearing of right size bra from right age onwards will keep the brests firm for very long period.Bra gives false shape and more sex appeal when used under formal dress.
But it has become fashinable to have see thru dress without bra.But you should have enviable and shapy assets.

If you live in the UK take a look at Charlie Dimmock and you'll get your answer. She doesn't wear a bra and she uses her boobs to make the holes for bedding plants just by bobbing up and down.
