First of all, I think this is a FABULOUS philosophy question! (hi5) there are so many cases...some which i need to see in order to believe...won't just take random rumours or even news to believe it....other cases are ones that my heart and soul believe in (imagination, religion, etc) but of course i can't see these "things" in reality (3D). i've wondered about this too...interesting...wonder what others have to say about this ^_^

The universe is incomprehensible; full of thousands of perceptual thoughts which often become muddled within one another. One can not trust what they percieve, but then again what is there to trust if not one's perception? Knowledge itself is perceptual, we could all be insane and not know it. I believe what I see, though I do know that what I see is most likely not acurate.

Do you see what you believe in? It's just a matter of words. Believing is simple, try with understanding what you see.

I have no choice. We are all slaves to our senses, how do I know I'm not in a coma right now and you're just a figment of my imagination. I don't know that you're not, and I don't know that you are; but I can't waste my life wondering about it.

If belief equals truth and you use sight to read then logically you cannot believe what you see if you have ever read anything false.

I do, because if you can see it its gotta be real, except for something having to do with religion or cheap magic tricks. (Actually good magic tricks are really cool but cheap ones are just pathetic.)

Yes, unless there's a reason to believe otherwise.
