have the option of music videos under the playlist menu cause mine says it and my ipod wont get the m video i bought

no some of them don't especially the older ones. You may have updated the software and thats why it gives you the option or there may be a problem with the video. Try another one just in case. Try support ' apple .com. It's really good and sorted all my problem's

You need to have the newer generations (4+) iPod video versions to play videos on your iPod. Not all iPods are video-compatible.
