i have 13 years expirience of looking after a child with disabilities and i would like to start a respite centrein redbridge what qualifications do i need and how would i go about it?

I'm not an expert but I'd guess that you and the other staff would need all the necessary care qualifications and health and safety qualifications. The person running it would probably need some training in management. Your local council would probably give you a grant and some advice. Social Services would give additional funding.
My mother ran a private school for disabled children.

Probably best get in touch with your social work department and the Care Commision. they would be able to tell you what you need to set up. There is a need for this type of service
