If you are still in school. Go talk to your school counselor. They can give you any info you might need. They get paid to be prepared for these kind of situations.

I am not trying to b sarcastic, but y do u want to divorce ur Mom? Would u still live with her if SHE divorced ur Dad.

I used to have an alcoholic Father (non-abusive) I cannot imagine how hard it is for u. I left home simply because I hated seeing him drunk all the time.

in maryland you cannot get emancipated unless you are pregnant. i tried, i live there, i know. there is nothing you can do. unless you want to call social services. they can put you in foster care or you can live with a family member or something but you still won't be on your own until you're 18. and they have to have proof of abuse. it's too hard to go through. and it takes too long.

You need professional help, not yahoo answers. Look in the yellow pages for abuse centers for youths. Pick a church and talk to the minister. Talk to someone at your school. Be prepared for things to get worse before they get better. Good luck.
