What are her interests? What does she spend most of her free time doing? A good gift would come from that. Listen to what she says when you guys are out in the stores. The best presents I ever bought my boyfriend, were things he liked in a store but didn't want to spend the money on. Ok ok...yes diamonds are nice but they're not everything. Only materialistic girls drool and make big deals out of big diamonds.

Buy her something that goes along with an event you've planned. Like buy her a hat and scarf and gloves and then take her ice skating! Or buy her a blanket and candy, and a chick flick and then watch it with her. Because spending time with you will be the best present and the item/s will give her something to remember the occasion by.
