Just because all it is, is people saying words with a boom in the back, its not melody its talking. Complete crap not music. Rap is 3/4th the word crap.

Because their don't understand rap music or hip hop culture. Some people are jealous of the way it is becoming more popular everyday all over the world. They are ignorant of the music and don't know that the rap music they hear on video and the radio, is mostly just the commercial aspect of the genre.. The don't understand the culture that creates rap. And they ignore the fact that the disrespectful songs are only a part of rap, And every genre has them,, There are racist Hate rock groups, but that doesn't mean all of Rock music is crap. And everyone their musical preference, only close-minded people say rap is crap.

Well I suppose from the rap that they hear, they assume all rap is crap, I am not a huge fan of rap, but I have heard many good songs that aren't about slapping a ho lol There are positive rap songs, my favorite is changes by Tupac! By the way I loove your sexy avatar!

Because apparently people are content with being ignorant and closed minded. Personally I don't like Country music, or Polka, or Heavy Metal... but I wouldn't call it crap. Its just not my personal choice.
I think if people knew that rap was more than the mainstream stuff you see on MTV, or hear on the radio, they may be able to respect the genre a little bit more. But, like I said... they are content with ignorance.

Because sex and violence sell in America. There is lots of inspiring, educational, spiritual, and even peaceful rappers and rap songs, but just like the peaceful Muslims, they don't get the platform to take advantage of the fastest growing music of our time. RAP AIN'T CRAP JACK.

The rap from the 90's was decents but now all rap does suck. there isn't one good rap band anymore. When Ice T quit that was the end for me.

For the same reason that religious people judge non believers.
I thought that they weren't suppose to do the judging......
hmm... being so narrow minded in life, keeps those around us from being exposed to more of our culture and society.
