We went for a sonogram at 22 weeks and the tech said we are definately having a girl. I am unsure by the picture.
I dont want to start buying clothes for the wrong sex.

I wondered the same thing too when I was pregnant with my daughter. The sonogram tech told me that it was a girl but I was just really unsure. So I did the following.

I kept the room a neutral color (sage green and tan) this way it would be suitable for a boy or a girl....and then I could also use that room for future children.

I am super lame and bought tons and tons of girl clothes...PINK PINK PINK, dresses with ruffle pants...etc etc etc...but I didn't take any tags off of anything until she was born. Most of the newborn stuff I tried to buy in a neutral color so I had something for when she came home just in case it was a boy..

However, the tech was right and I have a beautiful bouncing baby girl. I wish you all the luck in the world!

Ok, I agree to some extent. Techs do recieve training, however they are just that...techs. They are not doctors at all so what they see and tell you is an opinion, not fact. I looked at the picture and to me it looks like a girl too, but YOU NEVER KNOW for sure until the baby is born. If you want to decorate etc. I would make sure to keep the reciepts! Good luck!

The Sonogram Techs know what they are doing but if you think that you can read them better than just wait til the babys born.

Being a sonographer requires training. You don't have that training. Sonograms are VERY hard to read properly without training. So trust the tech.

well ithink you should wait . becase when i was pregnant with my first one my doc told me that its going to be a girl. but he also told me that when docs said its a girl they might be wrong.when they said its a boy its for sure. because they can clearly saw their penis. on the other hand hen they said its a girl they r not sure because sometimes they cant see the penis because of the babys position . so i think u should wait it can be boy also.
