I think book six is my favorite. I am currently re reading it. I just went through the whole series again, and it was really cool to read them all in a row and pick up all the clues on the way.

I love the 5th book, Order of Phoenix. It is by far the best!! We find out so much important information, along with new characters (hello, Umbridge!!), new battles, and sadly, we had to loose someone who I held close to my heart, SIRIUS. I cried a lot, but cried even more when Dumbledore died in the 6th book. That book was too depressing to be my favorite, but it is runner up because of so much info about Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort.
After those two, I'd say #3, #2, #1, and #4. I don't know why, but not much interested me in the fourth book except the return of Voldeemort. I didn't like the whole Triwizard Tournament thing.

Hmm tough choice.
Not sure about my absolute favorite, but my top 3 would be:
Chamber of Secrets [2]
Order of the Pheonix [5]
loved everything, especially luna, but harry's personality in that book was somewhat annoying sometimes. i felt like slapping him because he was being way too angsty.
Halfblood Prince [6]

I liked book 4 the best. It was such a turning point for the whole series, the rebirth of Voldemort. It just sets up the rest of the series so well.

I love the sixth book, that would have to be my favorite. You knew Harry and Ginny would get together, that would be my favorite part of it. I cryed so much when Dumbledore was killed but I knew he had to be so Harry can succed.

I liked... hmm. The Order of the Pheonix. Especially the battle in the Department of Mysteries. GOD I hope the next movie won't leave ALOT of characters and scenes like the last 2.

all are good- they are all a little different so that is good. Um, probably the third or the fourth- the fifth was a bit dark, the sixth was better. I'd rank them:
1- third
2-fourth
3-sixth
4-first
5-second
6-fifth
but seriously, they are all so good it's hard to tell.

i only read the first 4 sorry!!!..but the fourth is the best...(my opinion on what i read)....everything changes..voldemort comes alive...the kids are growing..challenges are harder...the teachers grow weirder...and the age of darkness looms..it's the perfect turning point as said above.
