While on vacation last week, I kept forgetting to take my pills on time & I think I kept forgetting because of the time difference. Anyway, my husband and I didn't do anything while on vacation because he wanted to respect his dad's house, where we were staying.

So is it possible that I could have gotten pregnant by taking my pills late every day?

I am no Gyn, but I have been down your road...I think that if you continued to take them, and were just late taking them, you should be okay. I've even had my doctor tell me that I could miss 1 day without taking them, maybe even two, but I would never chance it. Good Luck!

Birth control pills are not 100% effective. Ask the 1000's of women who got pregnant taking them. Do a pregnancy test and find out.

You definitely can get pregnant while on the pill. they are not 100% effective in the first place. My friend said she was taking her pills faithfully everyday. she just gave birth to a baby boy the other day

Any birth control is only 99% guaranteed. However, if you were taking your pills regularly and didn't skip any, it should not matter what time it was. You should be fine. Especially since you "didn't do anything"!

You can get pregnant with the pills if you don't take them everyday or you were sick (vomiting, diarrhea). I don't know if it matters if the time was not your usual. I guess if it was within a few hours of your regular time, you should be fine.

Yes, it could happen. The pill works for about 24hr, so the pill taken 24hrs after the first helps keep pregnancy from happening.

Even if you took your pills on time every day, you still can get pregnant, they're not 100%

there is always a risk of getting pregnant when you have sex. A condom and bith control are not 100%. The chances are very slim, but it can still happen.
