I am not so sure that those old codgers would do any worse than what I see from these current QB's. Hell, Vinny Testaverde just got picked up by someone. Why not bring Kosar and Jeff George back. Where the hell is Kosar these days anyways? On a Florida golf course? Bring the guy back. Entice him to get back and return to dominance!

Are they that desperate?

Lord no, Jeff George is poison and is destined to suck. Waste of a great arm, but there you go. Kosar was too old 10 years ago. I suspect there's some perfectly good young guys riding the pines and not getting a chance -- look at Romo.

Personally I think they should stick Todd Marenivich in de-tox or get Joe Thiesman. Isn't that how the Thiesman trophy got started. All kidding aside, QB is the most demanding position both mentally and alot of time physically. I don't agree with the powder puff rule on QB's but I think I would take Doug Flutie and I'm a huge Packer fan.

Kosar was a mobile as a lamppost. I think his arm is in the same shape.
George has been out of football for awhile. Even the Raiders didn't want him. Need I say more?

Jeff George probably still has a better arm than half if not most of the qbs in the league right now, the problem is the eagles cant block good enough for him, if they can protect him hes dynamite

They won't bring either back. Jeff George is already with the Raiders, both guys are way too old, especially Bernie

Bernie? Why not get Randall Cunningham? Hell, the right money Steve Young or John Elway may play.

Didn't Kosar just go into rehab after roughing up his wife...So I think he might be out....But there is always Brian Sipe...Or I heard the Browns just gave Mark Rypien a tryout...

I thought that the raiders should have picked him up. Jeff George had an attitude but he had an arm and his career was cut short for that.

Why don't we also see if Jim McMahon wants to come back to the Bears. Those old guys would not be able to keep up with the current NFL's speed.
