You pretty much cant go through live never saying anything that would offend somebody...unless u were mute...because everyone has different opionions and you cant make everyone happy at the same time. Its like what my band director said (though he got it from someone else...like all his lectures)
You can make a few people happy all of the time
You can make a lot of people happy some of the time
But you cant make everybody happy all the time
(something like that, i sometimes veg out during his lectures)

sure it dosent matter what you say theres a certain percentage of people who will disagree or take offence to it, thats life in a free country
