Look at any black & Decker tool available in the UK and you see the word "England" on them.

In these days of cheap chinese labour i cannot believe Black & Decker still make any tools in the UK.

How can they justify putting the word "England" on them
explain please the reason.

I live near Baltimore, MD, USA where Black & Decker are based and I have heard from people who work there that all the Black & Decker brand tools, regardless of the point of sale, are made in China or Asia. If what I have heard is true then I don't know how they can do that. Maybe they can assemble them about to baout 99% completion in china and then ship them to the UK and complete them?

The Black & Decker company also owns the DeWalt brand name, which are better designed tools. For years DeWalt tools were made in Delaware, USA but they recently had to close the plant to cut costs and move production to other countries.

I have used many brands of tools for different jobs and the Milwaukee, Porter-Cable and Delta brands are the best for the price. All are far better than B&D tools and definitely made in the USA. Milwaukee tools are designed and built alot the USA as a country, stronger than they need to be but take tons of abuse and still get the job done.:)

Black & Decker tools sold in the UK are made in Slough, Berkshire, England. Dewalt, is the same company, used to be Elu, B&D is the DIY dept. Dewalt make tools for Pro's (they also make Trends Routers, but thats another story). Therefore they have every right to put England on the tools. Even the ones that are 'assembled' in the UK but have parts made abroad, can have England on them.

Doe's it really matter where the tool is made if you buy tools to use professionally they will be expensive but for normal D.I.Y they are usually cheaper ones,
most tools develop problems but I have a 115mm black & Decker angle grinder that I have used for the past 18 years and its never let me down, look after your tools clean them after use and they will give you years of good service.

Maybe they really were made in England? lol

Don't worry about it too much; as with most big corporations they will be found out eventually and you can sit back and feel rightly justified then. Until that happens, go make yourself a cuppa and calm down. I'll have milk and two sugars thanks.

Actually, B&D operates factories in dozens of countries around the world, including England.
They started there in 1925, coontinued expanding there and around the world, and now own such brands as Delta, Tru-Temper, GE, DeWalt, and many more.

i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.
