kerosene was spilled in the floor board of my car and the smell is terrible

Give Febreze a try (extra strength). I've found it will remove just about any type of odor.
If by chance that doesn't work, then rub the stain really well with Pine Sol.

nothing covers it sometimes i try to have bonfires in my car but i cant get the kerosene smell out no matter what i do

Apply an odor killer but only after you have washed it thoughly with lots of soap and water.

Diesel fuel should work. Or maybe try some carpet cleaner ya think?
