The automatic transmission already shifts from low to high when you are starting out. There's no point.
The "Low" setting on the transmission is actually used to tell the car that you want it to stay in a lower gear when it would naturally shift to a higher gear. You might do this when you are climbing a hill, for example, or when you are towing a load, because you need more power from the car. I also use low gear when going down hills because the car's engine helps to slow the car down the hill without me having to use my brakes as much.

Kind of pointless as the automatic transmission starts off in low then shifts as needed depending on load and throttle position.
Abusing a car will make it wear and lose value faster.
