All you kids who grew up depending on electronic lazy devices will probably starve and die. Blunt and harsh, maybe, but all to true.

Imagine trying to live with out a car to get you around, a telephone when you're in trouble, or a refrigerator to preserve your food. No electricity means manufacturing grinds to a halt. That means no more lighters or matches for a while to start fires. It also means no running water much less hot water. Water pumping stations run on electricity. It also means no health care of any usable sort.

The person who answered about is right, it would be chaos.

The industrialized world would shut down for a few months, meanwhile homes would foreclose, businesses bankrupt and life would go on in the third world (might even improve there given the amount of pollution we create in our enlightened societies).

That's why god created candles, lanterns, flash lites and batteries... Still some appliances/ equipments run on batteries where it lack electronic equipment.
