What details of this decade intrigue you the most?

I pick the 1940's
Patriotism was high and Americans all worked together for the cause.
After the war, when the GI's came home, it was a time of prosperity, growth and the baby boom began.
And who can forget the beautiful fashions, great movies and big band music.
It's just not the same anymore.

1940's

Post depression. Greatest American musical theatre on Broadway.
The men. HOT. They wore suits, danced, sang.
The women had awesome fashion. They wore hats as accessories.

The 1970s. This is purely for nostalgia sake. I was a kid at the time (born in the late 60s), but I have a lot of memories of it (music, television, etc.) and I think I would have liked to have experienced it as an adult.

Definitely 1850's. One, because it was an amazing time period and it was the earliest on your options.

Secondly, because that's when Tom Sawyer and Huch Finn were alive. ;-)
