The following day, my back and neck started hurting. Her insurance company wants me to pay for all of medical bills, therapy, medicines, etc and then send them the copies of receipts and doctors notes. Should I get an attorney or settle this on my own?

You should be able to settle it. Hopefully you have health insurance so your health insurance will pay too. Our 17 year old has had 6 car wrecks this year so we have had to deal with a lot of insurance companies. They all paid and we never needed to get an attorney.

I had an accident 4 years ago. Got hit in the driver's door. Right in my hip. The other insurance company told me the same thing. I called an attorney and they told me there was nothing they could do for me at the moment. They said that I would have to pay my bills and then submit them to the insurance company. Then if they refused to pay, then I could get an attorney.
Once all my treatment was done, the insurance was ready to settle right away. I hope it works out for you.

Get an attorney to help you sort this out. The general rule is that rear enders are the fault of the driver who has hit you. The person was driving too close to you.

Save everything related to the matter ... everything!

I hope for your sake that the neck and back pain is merely a result of possible whiplash. Did you exchange insurance information with her right away? Have you taken a pic of the damage to your vehicle? And yes, you should seek legal assistance in this matter.

GET AN ATTORNEY NOW, THEY NEED TO PAY 80% OF YOUR MEDICAL BILL. AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY AT FRONT YOU PAY AFTER THE BILL IS TAKING CARE OF YOU PAY THE 20% THAT IS LEFT.

Depends on how long you want it drawn out. Sometimes it can take years.... w/ attny.. but dont settle for nothing... cause they will rush you to get you to sign off ...and if you are hurt... you want to make sure everything is covered.
