Feline Lukemia. How many of your neighbors in a given radius do and do not own cats. If they do...did they vacinate their cat w/the Feline Lukemia vaccination? If not why? Did you know it only takes the transfer of blood (scratch) like HIV in humans...to become infected with this disease? How many cats are exposed to the outside? The chances that a cat may be exposed to the outside is possible. Cats that are outside eventually all have a territorial confrontation. Odds of them getting scratched is great! Why did these owners that did not vaccinate decide not to?...or how many refused to comment?.... It is a public awareness research. I think you will be amazed that most people don't vaccinate thier cats ...to save money on the vet bill.....even though Feline Lukemia is terminal. I bet, I bet, I'm right!

The plague-a zoonosis from rats

If you want to be really different, try doing a paper or erysipelous, which is caused by the bacteria Erysipelothrix rheusiopathiae and transmissable to humans from pigs. I can nearly guarantee nobody else in your class will be doing that one.
